Can't go wrong

This is a product where you get what you pay for from the manufacturer. If you want the smoothest espresso from a low maintenance, timeless espresso machine, this is the machine for the job. You can't go wrong with one of these if you know what you're doing.

Practice practice practice

Yes you have to practice and work-it for a time. But it leads you to understand the brewing process, grinding coffee and buying good coffee. La Pavoni is not only a work horse but also a teacher, how good could that be!

Compact, intuitive and well made!

The fact is La Pavoni Professional is small in size, and it can easily fit in the smallest of the spaces effortlessly. The piston setup provides you hands-on experience on the espresso making and with time you will know how the perfect espresso tastes. Beautiful chrome body and lever operation make it a breeze to do. In the end, it’s not the press-button-and-ready coffee model. You need to put in the effort and learn how to use the La Pavoni Professional Machine. The end result is very satisfying. Overall, I would recommend this espresso machine.

Well Built Machine

Very nice machine. Heavily and well-built. Looks like it should last forever. Good price. Works very well, just as advertised. Only problem is the cappuccinos are so delicious that I need to switch to decaf, or I'll never sleep again. Easy to drink too many!

Great simple espresso machine

I have a la pavoni Europiccola stradivari model (non professional-8 all chrome). I've had it for a year now. I bought it brand new out of the box. I've descaled it once since I've had it (I do use filtered water - - Brita) . I have no problem doing back to back to back shots. The most shots at one time is normally two or three. I've recently started doing three. This thing is up to every task i've had for it thus far.

La Pavoni Stradivari

The Europicola I ordered was out of stock so Comiso Coffee offered a Stradivari in its place at no extra charge. They are both beautiful machines and I’ve been able to dial in a lovely and dependable shot of espresso. The La Pavoni has made my daily coffee ritual experience a truly special one. (Picture shown with bottomless Portia filter that I ordered separately from Italy.)

Love of my life

This is a tool, not a machine. You need to know how to grind your beans, tamp with the correct pressure, get the correct water temp, draw water in, soak the coffee, then pull your shot. It's a fine skill that needs mastering but I know of no other machine that makes better espresso than the manual pull be it La Pavoni or Olympia. I've made 8+ shots per day for over 1 year with this machine and it's fantastic every time. You do need to adjust the grind when switching beans. Italian espresso beans tend to be harder (medium roast for longer) than American beans (hotter roast but shorter). I prefer the Italian beans. The espresso has much better crema and I've yet to experienced a burnt batch.
